38th Cork Macaoimh

Our Annual Macaoimh Camp took place in Kilcully from the 23rd to 25th June. The theme was pirates and we went on a Harbour Tour, Completed the Naturalist Merit Badge in Fota, had a BBQ and some fun bases including a big inflatable Slide ! Pictures...

On 28^th March the 38^th Macaoimh visited the Garda Station at Togher. They had a talk about the role of the Garda, a tour of the station and got to see and ride on the Patrol Bike and Garda Car. They also meet ‘Jessie’ the tracker dog. Pictures...

On Tuesday 21^st Feb, the 38^th Macaoimh visited the Cork City Civil Defence HQ in Ballyvolane. The Macaoimh were shown the Fire Engine, Ambulance and Sea Rescue Boat. The had a Drill and Water display. Two members – Brendan O’Sullivan and Daniel Chawdley presented a plaque and 38^th neckerchief to recognise the visit to John Tyner
