This year we
travelled to De Kluis in Belgium for our annual camp which
was held from the 5th to 19th July. It was a
joint camp with the 2nd & 7th Cork Scout Troops from St.
Finbarrs Unit. Three Venturer Groups from the Region also
stayed in De Kluis - Ballinlough, St. Finbarrs &
Carrigaline.
Activities
Activities on
Camp included, Cycling Tracks, Rafting, Swimming, A
Waterpark & Mini Europe trip in Brussels, The
Cathedral & Chocolate Factory in Cologne (Koln), the
market in Mechelen and a day trip to Six Flag Theme Park in
Belgium.
There
were also a number of trips to nearby Louven for shopping
and swimming as well as campfires and the usual camp games
and activities. It was another great camp. !
