| During July 1996 the 38th/40th Scouts with Leaders Martin Murphy, Damien Keohane and Tom Scriven went on Camp to Gilwell Park in London. The camp was for 2 weeks and the scouts enjoyed the facilities in Gilwell, sepecially the outdoor swimming pool. there was also a tour of London visiting the London Dungeon, Madam Thausauds Wax Works and Planetarium and Wembly Stadium and enjoyed some of preparations for the fortcomming Euro '96 event.
