Camp 1998, Kandersteg, Switzerland

In July 1998 the 38th/40th Cork Scouts went on one our most exciting camps ever to Kandersteg Scout Centre in Switzerland.  This was unusual as we hired our a 53 seater bus for the whole 2 weeks !  The Centre was fantastic and the activities included abseiling, river rafting, dawn hike and trips to Interlaken, Lucern and to the Schilthorn (the rotating restaurant where the James Bond film was made). We stopped in Paris to call to Euro Disney on the way back for the whole day!  It was certaining one of the bast camps ever.
