Civil Defence & Investiture 2004
On Friday 6th February 2004, the 40th Macaoimh  took a special trip to the Cork City Civil Defence in Togher for our annual Investiture and also for a tour.  5 Macaoimh were invested and Gold, Silver & Bronze Arrow Awards were also presented.  After the formalities we split into 3 groups and were shown the Fire Engines, Rescue Boats and the Gear & Equipment used. Then we cut the investiture cake and were served oranage, tea and biscuits.  Many thanks to all in the Cork City Civil Defence for a great night.
