Opening Dates for 2024/25
The groups currently operates two ages sections:
Cub Scouts (9 to 12 years) will be starting on Tuesday 10th September 2024 at 7pm
Beaver Scouts (6 to 9 years) will be starting on Monday 16th September 2024
Waiting List
We currently having waiting lists for both sections and offer place based on our waiting lists. You can register your child’s interest here and join the list

Fees for 2024/25
The Group Council has set fees for 2024/25 for the full year as follows:
Fees will be billed half yearly in September & February via PayPal
Fees can be paid online via Paypal or by Cash or Cheque at the Scout Hall
Note the fees above are inclusive of a €65 per person annual charge from Scouting Ireland
Consent Forms
A green parental Consent Form is required to be completed and signed for each scout. These will be issue in the first two weeks and should be returned to you section leaders as soon as possible.
Re-opening for 2022/23 Scouting Year

The following are the opening dates and fees for the Scout Year 2023/24:
Reopening Dates
Cub Scouts – Tuesday 5th September 2023 (for returning and new members already contacted)
Beaver Scout – Monday 11th September 2022
Existing members will be contacted by their section leaders and Beaver due to move to Cubs will also be contacted to let them know.
New Members for 2023/24
New members will be offered from our waiting list in the first instance. Join Waiting List
Registration for 2023/24
Notice of Fees and the Annual Parental Consent Form will be distributed in September. The Group Council has maintained fees at their current rates for 25023/24 which are:
Term 1 (September 2023 to January 2024)
Term 2 (February 2024 to June 2024)

The Group Council met recently to discuss options for re-opening for 2022/23. The following opening dates were agreed.
Reopening Dates
Cub Scouts – Tuesday 6th September 2022 (for returning members only)
Beaver Scout – Monday 12th September 2022
Existing members will be contacted by their section leaders and Beaver due to move to Cubs will also be contacted to let them know.

The Group Council has set the following provisional opening dates for 2021/22:
These are based on compliance with current Covid Guidelines for Youth Organisation and the availability of sufficient Adult Leaders.
Membership will be open to existing members and new members (offered from waiting list in first instance.
Registration for 2020/21 will take place online and is only open to current members.
Details of our upcoming overnight camping trip for cubs have been sent by text and email to all parents. A gear list for the event is provided below:

You are reminded to mark all gear with your child’s name and also that no electronic toys, games, mobile phone are permitted on the weekend.
Additionally cubs should not bring any drinks, crisps, chocolates or sweets with them. Supper on Friday to lunch on Saturday are included. Pocket money is unnecessary as there is no shop on site.
