| Crosshaven Hike 2004 |

26th September 2004 the 40th Macaoimh haD their first hike
of the year. The hike started half
way down the Carrigaline-Crosshaven public walk and
stopped in Crosshaven for our first project whihc was to
make a compass with a magent, needle and cork.
The hike continued up to Fort Camden where we had lunch and did our second project which was to identify sysmbols on the map of the Harbour and then to find them. After this we continued to the Beach and then onto Weavers Point where we cooked sausages and then came back by road into Crosshaven. |
