Starburst was our second day off site and it consisted of being assigned to various different locations around Essex as part of "helping others" or Duty to community" element of scouting. The activities varied from gardening in a maternity hospital, demolishing old huts on allotments to clearing the beaches in Southend.  part of the day was spent on visiting or exploring the different areas as well.
