SHIELD WEEKEND 2008

The Scouts came 5th in this year's Shield competition with a total score of 2466 out of 3275.  The awards were given out at the closing ceremony of camp craft weekend on Sunday 4th May where we collected the Most Improved trophy.  Picture...

 
VISIT TO LORD MAYOR 2008
On Wednesday 12th March, the Ballinlough Scout group were invited to visit the Lord Mayor of Cork at the City Hall. The evening was a very enjoyable and all scouts were presented with the 100 years badge and a special pin of the City of Cork Coat of Arms More
 
COUNTY QUIZ WINNERS 2007
This year the scout troop took both first and second prize in the County Quiz. Obviously we're delighted with the result. There were 12 teams from the county at the quiz and first and second were to go through to the National Challenge Day in Larch Hill in February '08.  Enlarge Picture...

WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE 2007
The World Scout Jamboree was held in Essex in the UK and coincided with the 100th Anniversary of the first every scout camp on Brownsea Island in 1907.  7 Scouts and 5 Leaders attended the 2 week event.  Pictures soon...
